The Modified Martinez

Originally published in 1887 by Jerry Thomas.

  • 2 dashes Maraschino liquor

  • 1 oz. Bourbon Barreled Big Gin

  • 2 oz. vermouth rouge (the good stuff)

Stir w/ ice, strain in a coupe & serve with quarter slice of lemon in the glass.


Mayfair Cocktail

  • 1 oz. apricot brandy

  • 1 oz. orange juice

  • 1 oz. Bourbon Barreled Big Gin

Build the drink in a collins glass, top with ice & soda water. Garnish with an orange peel.


The House G&T

  • 1 1/2 oz Big Gin or Bourbon Barreled Big Gin

  • ¾ oz house tonic*

  • 3 oz Soda or Seltzer

Build in a rocks glass or highball. Swizzle a bit before serving. Garnish with orange, lemon or lime--depending on the rations of your tonic syrup.

HOW WE LIKE IT

  • 2 oz. BOURBON BARRELED BIG GIN

  • 5 dashes Scrappy's orange bitters

Stir Bourbon Barreled Big Gin with a large cube. Add bitters and an orange twist.


Hester Prim

  • 2 oz. Bourbon Barreled Big Gin

  • 1/2 oz. Mancino Secco

  • 3 dashes Angostura bitters

Combine ingredients in a mixing glass and stir well for 10-15 seconds. Strain in coupe and garnish with a lime wheel.


BOURBON BARRELED OLD FASHIONED

  • 1 bar spoon simple syrup
  • 3 dashes Angostura bitters
  • 2 1/2 oz. Bourbon Barreled Big Gin

Combine ingredients in an Old Fashioned glass. Add a few ice cubes or one large ice cube. Stir 30-40 times. Express oils of a large orange peel and stir the peel into the cocktail. Garnish additionally with a brandied cherry.
