Two acclaimed farm dinners will feature a Captive Spirits Big Gin cocktail this summer, at the beautiful Outstanding in the Field farm suppers when they visit Washington State this July. Check out both the events below:

Our event at Hama Hama is an extraordinary combination of chef and site. Chef Zoi cares deeply about telling (and cooking up) the story of ingredients, people and place. It’s wonderful to hear her speak passionately about what it means to her to come out and cook at a place like this. High tide is at 6pm.

OITF first came to Local Roots seven years ago. Our guest chef Matt Dillon said his friends were starting a farm, so we put it on the tour schedule. On the day of the event, farmer Siri Erickson-Brown got up on the tractor and said, “I really don't know that much about farming.”  It was charming and kinda cool to hear how she became inspired to learn about it. And now, Siri and Jason really know what they are doing! We will hear all about their progress, and Chef Rachel Yang will create an inventive Korean-French-Pacific Northwest feast from their hard-won harvest. OITF tour director Anna says Rachel is one of her favorite chefs in Seattle, and the people who select the James Beard Award nominees agree; Rachel is on the long list for Best Chef-Northwest this year.
